Introducing Matt
Salesforce CTO & Enterprise Architect
I help organisations modernise Salesforce for the AI era, improve delivery speed and governance, and prepare their platforms for continuous innovation.
I am an experienced CTO and Salesforce architect with more than a decade in enterprise-scale digital transformation. I have held senior technology leadership roles across global consulting and digital-services firms and worked with pioneering enterprises in sectors including life sciences, energy, consumer goods, financial services, and retail. My career has been shaped by one consistent question: how can technology serve business change at speed and scale?
My focus is on helping enterprises modernise Salesforce for the AI era, rebuilding legacy architectures into platforms that are faster, leaner, and ready to integrate with Data Cloud and hyperscalers. I am currently exploring how modern DevOps, observability, and low-code automation reshape delivery and governance, and how composable and data-fabric designs unlock business agility.
I share practical frameworks for Salesforce modernisation and platform strategy at events such as Dreamforce and London’s Calling. My current work brings these ideas together through the AgentOps initiative and new approaches to diagramming and architectural communication. I also support community architects who want to grow their influence and technical clarity.
I have held senior technology leadership roles across global consulting and digital-services firms, partnering with clients in sectors including life sciences, energy, consumer goods, financial services, and retail. I work closely with executives and architecture leads to simplify complexity, strengthen governance, and embed modern delivery practices that sustain transformation.
Much of my work involves experimenting with new ways to modernise Salesforce delivery. I am currently developing frameworks for modernisation by default, exploring AI-enabled DevOps and observability tooling, and refining how teams visualise complex systems. My aim is to translate these learnings into accessible resources for both leaders and practitioners.
